THIS ONE SETUP SOLVES 80% OF YOUR AI GENERIC PROBLEM.
Sep 30, 2026
If your AI output feels generic, I want to offer you a reframe. The problem is almost never the prompt. It is the context. Most people approach AI the way they approach a search engine.
Type a question. Get an answer. Repeat.
And then wonder why everything it produces sounds like it could have been written for anyone because it was. AI with no context about you produces output for a version of you that doesn't exist.
The fix is not a longer prompt. It is not a better template. It is not a prompt library you downloaded from the internet. It is context. Set once. Applied everywhere.
In Session 1 of the My AI Coworker masterclass, I walked the room through exactly how I do this.
I showed them my own custom instructions - the context I have built into my AI that tells it who I am, how I work, what I am trying to achieve, and what good output looks like for me specifically.
And then I showed them how I built it, by having a conversation.
I let Claude interview me - my goals, where I am right now, what I am working toward, what matters to me in my work. The kind of conversation that, in a coaching context, would take an hour. Done in 20 minutes.
What came out the other side was a context layer that now lives inside every interaction I have with AI. And here is what that changes.
After that setup, one of my most-used prompts for managing my project emails is simply: "Look at my emails and highlight the most important ones."
Few words without preamble. No explanation of who I am or what I care about. The AI already knows. The context does the work. That is what a well-set context layer buys you - the ability to stop repeating yourself every single time.
This is where AI is heading more broadly.
The industry is shifting from prompt engineering to context engineering. The professionals who will get the most out of AI are not the ones who master the cleverest prompts. They are the ones who invest in setting context so well that simple, natural instructions produce specific, useful results.
The prompt is the last ten percent. The context is everything before it.
If Session 1 was about understanding who you are and what makes you a Competition of One - Session 2 is about taking that into the market.
Session 2: Finding Opportunities using AI
How do you find concrete opportunities in the market? How do you reach the right people and stand out? How do you use AI to create opportunities for yourself - not just respond to the ones already posted?
